“Being Green”

This week was hosting as every year St. Patrick’s day celebrations, as much as I think the authenticity of this particular celebration, as its roots in Ireland and the major parade is in Dublin, which is a city that I truly hope to visit very soon.

Last year I experienced some “green time” on a amazing celebration of this day in New York.
Yes, apparently in NY St paddy’s day is quite a big event, the parade is huge, the roads turn into this bright green color filled with all sort of sparkles and songs…

The parade as usual starts in the late morning, marching up Fifth Avenue—past St Patrick’s Cathedral at 50th Street—all the way to 79th Street. And finishes around in the afternoon at the American Irish Historical Society at East 80th Street.
It’s a major event that involves an insane amount of crowed and a good amount of craziness … quite a unique thing to watch! I certainly enjoyed it!
“Fun Fact” wanna know what are for sure 10 things that are gonna happened on this day in NY, well here is my list:
10.Big Grown men all dressed up like the Lucky Charms leprechaun, in their green tights.
9. Kids with green hair, green face, green feet… basically green kids!
8. Dogs dress up in all kinds of green clothes scarves, bows, and accessories…
7. Huge amount of diffenrent groups marching during the parade ( From school bands to NYFD…)
8. All sorts of green gadgets and accessory at every Street corner is sold out!
5. Irish people on Holiday, entertained by locals who go on about their Irish ancestors..

2. Irish bagpipes are gonna play on and on …. SO AMAZING!
1. Drunk people singing, Drunk people falling, Drunk people drinking… Basically sober people who may think they had a little to much, as they find them selfs surrounded by leprechauns carrying pots of gold!
